New Life is Coming to the SLS Las Vegas

The SLS of Las Vegas has provided an entire reboot to the north end of the Strip. With its current nightclub and lounge, Foxtail, bringing in star rappers like Lil Wayne, the SLS of Las Vegas has big plans for its area. Plans to expand the hotel with the W tower will add over 200 new rooms to the hotel. SLS is also diving into the live music scene with its new venue, The Foundry.

New Life is Coming to the SLS Las Vegas

What was once Life nightclub will now be a venue hall that will compete with The House of Blues inside of Mandalay Bay and The Vinyl inside of Hard Rock. Life was shut down in June of 2015 and has been undergoing renovations to create The Foundry. The new concert venue is set to hold over 1,800 guests, including staff. This will allow for big name bands and artists to be booked but will still maintain an intimate feel with the guests.

The 25-foot-by-65-foot stage will span nearly the full length of the venue. Five LED screens will surround the stage, displaying graphic light shows and serve as a screen for the performances (but you will be so close you won’t even need them). The Foundry has also done away with the old speakers and installed 20 Danley Sound Labs speakers.

AWOLNATION is set to christen the stage on February 5, 2016, with Lil Wayne and Wu-Tang Clan’s Method Man and Redman performing the very next day. Other performances that have been booked already include X Ambassadors on March 26, Adam Lambert on April 1 and recently announced Bryce Avenue on April 23. Tickets are set at a price range of $25-$40.

Other forms of entertainment such as comedy acts will be hosted at The Foundry, making it the perfect place for any corporate or private event. At Las Vegas Destination Management, we are in the business of helping you plan the greatest private or corporate event. We specialize in event planning no matter the size or scale.
