Whether you are in town for business or just taking in the sights on vacation, there is no better way to wind down or start the night than hitting up happy hour. The Las Vegas Strip has a vast number of places to grab some beers with friends or sit back and relax with a nice cocktail, but sometimes the price can be a bit steep. Luckily, happy hour was invented to allow you to enjoy yourself with good foods and drinks at a reasonable price.
Many places on the Strip will offer happy hour specials, but we have chosen a list of five that we feel stand out above the rest.
The Pub (Monte Carlo)
This sports bar allows you to enjoy whatever game is on at the time and share a few rounds with your buddies without breaking the bank. Every Monday through Friday, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., enjoy $3 off all drafts and some good appetizers for no more than $6. The Pub has one of the best draft selections on the Strip so you will never run out of something to try.
Taqueria Canonita (Venetian)
If you are looking to enjoy your happy hour in a lively setting prime for people watching, head over to the Venetian. Taqueria Canonita is located in the Grand Canal, allowing you to watch the gondolas pass through and the hundreds of people walking the Strip. Enjoy $3 drafts and $5 margaritas, cocktails and wines daily from 3 - 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. to close.
McCall’s Heartland Grill (Stratosphere)
The north end of the Strip may be less ventured, but the happy hour specials are hard to beat. Enjoy daily specials from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. to 2 a.m., for a drink before or after dinner. They are serving up $2 champagne and mimosas, $3 wells drinks and drafts and if you are still feeling hungry, 50 cent wings and $2 tacos. If you are looking for great food and drinks on the Strip at a very low price, head to McCall’s Heartland Grill.
Beer Garden (SLS Vegas)
There are not many places in Las Vegas where you can watch the game, place a few bets and enjoy some great food by Umami Burger, Los Angeles’ popular burger spot. Oh, and not to mention great drinks at a reasonable price. Everyday from 9 p.m. to close you can enjoy $5 drafts, well drinks and umami fries at the Beer Gardens inside of SLS Vegas.
Hussong’s Cantina (Mandalay Bay)
Enjoy happy hour Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and receive half off select appetizers, margaritas, cocktails and drafts. Even though happy hour is only offered in a small window, one reason to consider this as your go to is the $3 tacos. If that is not a good enough reason to venture to Hussong’s Cantina for a happy hour drink with your coworkers and friends, we're not sure what is.
